'PowerMarket' is a community solar marketplace that allows people to choose their power from local sources. Based in the United States, PowerMarket aims to change the perception of solar power by making customers aware of how easy it is to convert their electricity supply to solar energy.
With PowerMarket's message focusing on clean, green energy, they desired a website to convey just that. While their previous website had served them well, it was time to create one that would capture potential users' attention and effectively communicate their strong message.
PowerMarket needed a brand refresh that would be applied throughout the entire website. Everything was open for modification, including colors, typography, the use of illustrations, and their overall style.
The website's rebranding received race reviews from PowerMarket itself, and early client feedback indicated that their customers also had positive reactions. Regarding the illustrations, I created various environments, from cityscapes to rural landscapes, and the client approved of all of them. Consequently, we decided to change the background of the hero image based on the user's location within the United States.
